Stars is a short film starring Kevin Durand and Maury Sterling and directed by Jason Lewis. I was the cinematographer for the film tasked with intoning the feel of the film. My general approach was to contrast the cold and barren landscape with the warmer and detailed closeups of the two characters.
We used a Panasonic HVX200 with a 35mm adapter and Nikon lenses together on a Steadicam and sticks.
